Caterpillar is making big moves into developing actionable intelligence from drone data. It is going to take integration from the big equipment manufacturers to move drones into the civil construction mainstream. GPS machine control was slow to take off until manufacturers started integrating sensors and wiring into equipment. Now it is ubiquitous.
